Crowley Fire Department

The Crowley Fire Department is a career municipal agency led by Fire Chief Pleasant Brooks. The department lists fire suppression, emergency medical service, hazardous-materials response, technical rescue, fire prevention, public education, and community outreach among its responsibilities.

Operations are based at two stations. Crowley uses a fire-based EMS model: the City states that all firefighters are certified medical professionals, and a medical 9-1-1 call receives an ambulance and often a fire apparatus staffed with certified paramedics under physician medical direction.

The City reports 39 career firefighters, including the fire chief, deputy fire chief, EMS division chief, and three operations battalion chiefs. Tarrant County Emergency Services District No. 1 also identifies Crowley as a contracted fire-and-EMS provider for district territory.

A Fort Worth public contract record confirms an interlocal agreement for mutual-aid fire services with Crowley. That agreement describes Fort Worth responses to Crowley as requested, non-automatic responses.
